2010 FIFA World Cup Group A Matches And Standings
before last matches
Mexico And Uruguay (white squares and blue for Mexico, black for Uruguay) as you can see Mexico and Uruguay have the biggest chance to qualify to next round of MUNDIAL 2010. Both teams have won 4 points. Tied (draw) match (middle rows of the table) will give them one point more. 5 points are out of reach of France and S.Africa. Even when Mexico or Uruguay loose its last game of the group stage, there are many white squares (possible results) that promote these two teams.

France chances to qualify (blue and black squares) France have to win their last game to be qualified to the next round, that is for sure, but even when they win there are poor chances of success. Theoreticaly, France could win 1:0 to South Africa to be qualified (rightmost black square). But 4:0 for Uruguay-Mexico is unlikely. The highest probabilty for France to be qualified is to score huge win. For example, France-S.Africa 4:0 does not promote France only if the other match will be tied or Mexico wins to Uruguay 3:2 or 4:2 (first column in the table).

South Africa (yellow and red squares) even South Africa has chances to qualify but they have to win to France (it is rather unbelievable) and hope for good result in the other match.
